PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid food including sesame and/or sesame flavor, given with sesame-like external appearance, palate feeling and sesame flavor without increasing a lipid amount and calorie that much, and satisfactory in the external appearance, palate feeling and flavor of sesame, in spite of being liquid food suppressed in a use amount of sesame.
SOLUTION: The liquid food includes sesame and/or sesame flavor, and caryopsis fruit skin. The caryopsis fruit skin is wheat bran, and has a size of 1 mm mesh pass and 0.5 mm mesh on. The liquid food includes the caryopsis fruit skin at a ratio of &ge0.5 and &le10 mass%. The caryopsis fruit skin is roasted, and is wheat bran and/or rice bran. The liquid food is seasoning liquid having <3 mass% lipid content or &le40 kcal calorie per 100 g.
