PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easily and at a low cost an absorbent article capable of preventing leakage by improving adhesive strength between an upper layer sheet and a lower layer sheet.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises a porous upper layer sheet, a liquid-impermeable and porous lower layer sheet, and an absorber layer arranged between the upper layer sheet and the lower layer sheet, and has a prescribed length in a back and forth direction, and a prescribed width in a width direction orthogonal to the back and forth direction.
