A tray for packing meat and freezing is made from a single flatpack of corrugated cardboard. The tray comprises a flat base (4), two side panels (5) and two double layer end panels (6). The end panels have folded up side panels (7) and folded over additional panels (9) which are set into the tray. The folded over panels include an angled strip (16) across the inside corners of the tray, to provide a support for the separate cover (2). The end panels include tabs (11) which stick up and locate into slots (12) cut into the sides of the cover.
