PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter capable of being handled by one user performing a procedure, without any help of other, during an operation for a shaft.SOLUTION: A catheter 10 includes a hollow long sheath 14, and a handle 18 that is connected to a base end of the sheath 14. The handle 18 has a grip 40 that is configured to be capable of being held by a user, and a finger hook part 44 that is configured so that the user's finger can be hooked thereon to make the handle 18 easily held by the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
