To provide a catheter assembly capable of suppressing turn-up of an end of a catheter when the catheter is inserted and when a dilator is removed.SOLUTION: A catheter assembly 10 includes a catheter 16 and a dilator 14. In a non-assembly state that the catheter 16 and the dilator 14 are not assembled, an inner diameter of a catheter side tapered part 26 of the catheter 16 is an outer diameter or smaller of a dilator side base part 46 of the dilator 14.
