PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas treatment apparatus that improves gas throughput capacity by replenishing water directly to a honeycomb structure.SOLUTION: The honeycomb structures 4-1 to 4-4 are used as honeycomb structures to be replenished with water. Water supply ports 14-1 and 14-2 of a capillary 14 is arranged in contact with a gas-flow facing surface 4b of the honeycomb structures 4-1. Water supply ports 15-1 and 15-2 of a capillary 15 is arranged in contact with the gas-flow facing surface 4b of the honeycomb structures 4-2 and 4-3. The water in tanks 16 and 17 is replenished directly to the honeycomb structures 4-1 to 4-4 through the capillaries 14 and 15 by means of a capillary phenomenon or a negative pressure phenomenon of a fan.
