PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device composed so that the operation of an irradiation part can be determined from light of the irradiation part, and cost increase by the addition of circuit configuration and the generation of restriction etc., of an installation space are alleviated upon achieving this determinable configuration.SOLUTION: The light irradiation device is provided with the irradiation part 6 which irradiates invisible light in a wavelength band in an invisible region, and a body 1 in which the irradiation part 6 is provided in one end, wherein the irradiation part 6 includes a light source 7 which emits invisible light and an irradiation entrance 11 to release the light emitted from the light source 7 to the exterior.
