Process for binding a small quantity of a treatment product presented in the liquid form by adsorption on a large quantity of a support presented in the solid form and more particularly in the form of a finely divided solid. This process is noteworthy in that it consists: - in heating the abovementioned treatment product to make it change from the liquid phase to the gaseous phase; - in passing a gas stream of the treatment product through the particles of the solid support; - and in performing a condensation of the gaseous treatment product, which is adsorbed by the abovementioned particles. The invention also relates to a litter for domestic animals employing this process in which the liquid product is a bactericide and the solid support the litter. Applications: litters for domestic animals, making it possible to avoid the release of bad smells.
