The present disclosure illustrates a method and a system for exercise video training. The system provides a display device, an image capture unit, and a processing unit. When displaying the exercise video, the image capture unit takes the user’s actions to obtain the users skeleton message. The processing unit compares the users skeleton message to skeleton file of the exercise video to obtain a degree of similarity and determines whether the degree of similarity passes through a threshold value or not.
