PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed-changing and controlling device of a combine harvester which is capable of feeding grain culms left in a reaping treating device at a butt-reaping operation and is capable of properly reaping and harvesting fallen grain culms during reaping and harvesting operation.SOLUTION: The speed-changing and controlling device H carries out the following traveling-linked speed-changing treatment and non-linked speed-changing treatment when a canceling command is commanded by a reaping and driving-commanding means J. The traveling-linked speed-changing treatment carries out the speed-changing operation of a speed-changing means Z so that when a traveling device 1 is stopped or backed, the reaping treating device 4 may be stopped, and when the traveling device 1 advances, the speed-changing means may be operated so as to change the speed so that a set relative speed determined by the relation of increasing the driving speed m of the reaping treating device 4 higher according to the increase of the traveling speed D of the traveling device 1.
