PURPOSE: An active-type exercise therapy device is provided to control an exercise load by controlling exercise speed depending on the progress of therapy. CONSTITUTION: An active-type exercise therapy device comprises a manual drive unit(300), a control unit(400), and an active drive unit(200). The manual drive unit receives a normal hand of a user therein and performs the folding and unfolding exercise of the wrist of the normal hand. The control unit senses the moving angle and speed of the normal hand. The active drive unit receives a paralyzed hand of the user therein and performs the folding and unfolding exercise of the wrist of the paralyzed hand.본 발명은 편마비 환자의 상지재활운동시 안정성을 제공하며, 능동적으로 정상운동과 유사한 상지관절의 외반/내반 그리고 외전/내전을 유도함으로써 정상에 가까운 상지운동을 유도하게 되며, 건측 손(정상적인 팔)의 유도에 따라 환측 손(마비된 팔)의 강제적 움직임(운동)을 반복적으로 수행하여 뇌의 자극을 통해 활성화하여 환측 손의 정상적인 운동을 환자의 뇌에 인지하도록 제공함에 있으며, 건측 손의 움직임을 감지하는 수동구동부에 의해 상기 건측 손의 움직임을 능동적으로 환측 손의 팔목관절을 제어하며, 편마비 환자의 정상적 팔의 움직임을 감지하도록 속도와 회전각을 감지하는 센서를 이용하여 정확한 움직임을 검출하여 검출된 움직임에 따라 능동구동부의 환측 팔목관절의 각도/움직임 속도 등을 제어할 수 있는 능동형 운동치료장치를 제공하는 것이다.
