Disclosed are a system and a method for rehabilitation exercise of hands. The system for rehabilitation exercise of hands in accordance with an embodiment comprises: a plurality of sensing units which are arranged on each part in hands of a user so as to detect a movement of each part； and a communication unit which transmits movement data detected by the sensing units to an output device. The sensing units comprise: a plurality of finger sensing units including a first knuckle sensing unit and a second knuckle sensing unit which are arranged on the first and second knuckles of the user respectively； a back of the hand sensing unit which is arranged on the back of the hand of the user； and a wrist sensing unit which is arranged on the wrist of the user. A fixing means is arranged on at least one among the finger sensing units, the back of the hand sensing unit, and the wrist sensing unit for fixing each sensing unit to a related part. The first knuckle sensing unit is connected to the back of the hand sensing unit by a first connection unit, and the second knuckle sensing unit is connected to the first knuckle sensing unit by a second connection unit.
