The present invention relates to a therapeutic composition for preventing and treating cancer which contains an armadillo repeat domain 2 (AR2) polypeptide or a polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide as an active ingredient. More specifically, an AR2 domain of an armadillo polypeptide and a Klp64D tail domain play an essential role in a binding of Arm-Klp64D. The Klp64D tail domain binds to the AR2 domain of Arm and plays an important role in a wingless (Wg) signal.
