PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing device that is used for an endoscopic treatment technique and has a small size and high operability, and a suture suitable for the suturing device.SOLUTION: A suturing device 1 of the present invention includes an extrusion mechanism 30 with a lower end connected to a base 20 and pushing a suture 10 from the upper end, and a drawing mechanism 40 with the lower end connected to the base and drawing the suture from the upper end. The extrusion mechanism and the drawing mechanism are each constituted of at least a first link member 31, a second link member 32 and a thread holder 33. The first link member is rotatably pivoted to the base in the first joint 34 of the lower end, and is pivoted to the second link member in a relatively rotatable manner in the second joint 38 of the upper end.
