An electric rubber cutter, comprising a blade (1), a push-pull rod (2), and a handle (3). The push-pull rod (2) makes linear back-and-forth movements under the effect of an actuating apparatus. During a rubber cutting operation, a staff member is required merely to hold the handle (3), the actuating apparatus actuates the push-pull rod (2), and the push-pull rod (2) thus drives the blade (1) to make linear back-and-forth movements for cutting rubber. Compared with the prior art in which rubber is cut by means of manual labor, manual labor intensity is reduced, and the work efficiency and quality of rubber cutting are increased to a certain extent.
