The motor (2) is supplied by a direct current (DC) battery (10) or the alternating current (AC) to drive the transmission (3), and then the combined cutter is rotated by the cutting bar (4). A connected bar (6) is arranged at the rear end of the casing (1), and a control handle (7) is mounted at the rear end of the connected bar (6). A power line of the DC battery (10) travels through the connected bar (6). A speed switch (11) and a charging socket (12) are arranged on the handle (7). The root removing device can crush the leaves and the roots of single grass in manner of rotating and drilling, thus the weeding efficiency is improved. The serious damage to the nearby green space in the weeding is prevented as the size of the cutter is small.
