PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing leakage from the periphery of the thighs.SOLUTION: In a disposable diaper 10, both end regions 16A in the front-rear direction of an absorbent main body 16 are bonded to a belly side exterior body 12F and a back side exterior body 12R. The belly side exterior body 12F and the back side exterior body 12R comprise upper regions 12FU, 12RU and lower regions 12FD, 12RD, and the absorbent main body 16 comprises, at both side edge parts along the front-rear direction, sheet side edge parts 18A having regions not including absorbers 18, stereoscopic gathers 21, and leg gathers 23 extending in the front-rear direction at the sheet side edge parts 18A.
