PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article preventing turnover to the outside while retaining standing properties of a solid gathering part so as to improve lateral leakage prevention properties.SOLUTION: An absorbent article has a top sheet 31, a rear surface sheet 32 and an absorber 33 held between both sheets, and includes a pair of solid gathering parts 5 standing to a skin side when wearing, on both side edges along the longitudinal direction of the top sheet 31.
