PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and the weight of a radiation generator comprising: a radiation generating unit 101 which releases, from a release window 121 provided in a storage container 120, the radiation emitted from a radiation generating tube 102 stored in a storage container 120 a movable diaphragm unit 200 provided with a radiation restriction blade 122 which has an opening 126 for passing of the radiation released from the release window 121 of the radiation generating unit 101 and which adjust the size of a radiation irradiation field by adjusting the size of the opening 126 and a light source 125 which is used to simulate a radiation irradiation field formed by the radiation released from the radiation generating unit 101 as a visible light irradiation field formed by the visible light passing through the opening 126.SOLUTION: The radiation generator has the light source 125 disposed in a position, within the storage container 120 of the radiation generating unit 101, from which the light source 125 can emit light passing through the opening 126 by way of the release window 121.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】収納容器120に収納した放射線発生管102から出射された放射線を、収納容器120に設けられた放出窓121から放出する放射線発生ユニット101と、放射線発生ユニット101の放出窓121から放出される放射線を通過させる開口部126を形成し、開口部126の大きさを調整することで放射線照射野の大きさを調整可能な放射線制限羽根122を備えた可動絞りユニット200と、放射線発生ユニット101から放出された放射線による放射線照射野を、開口部126を通過する可視光による可視光照射野として模擬表示するための光源125とを備えた放射線発生装置について、小型軽量化を図る。【解決手段】光源125を、放射線発生ユニット101の収納容器120の内部であって、放出窓121を介して開口部126を通過する可視光を照射可能な位置に設けた放射線発生装置とする。【選択図】図1
