PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice which can effectively remove a dental plaque, a staining, and the like without being influenced by a convexoconcave size on the tooth surface.SOLUTION: A dentifrice contains granules (A) whose particle diameter is 45 &mum or more. The granules (A) comprise (a1) 5 mass% or more to 30 mass% or less of a granule whose particle diameter is 45 &mum or more to less than 63 &mum, (a2) a granule whose particle diameter is 63 &mum or more to less than 90 &mum,(a3) 10 mass% or more to 35 mass% or less of a granule whose particle diameter is 90 &mum or more to less than 125 &mum, and (a4) a granule whose particle diameter is 125 &mum or more to less than 160 &mum. The granules (A) comprise 5 mass% or more to 25 mass% or less of a granule whose particle diameter is 180 &mum or more. The mass ratio (a2/a3) of the content of the granule (a2) and the content of the granule (a3) is 0.8 or more to 2 or less, the mass ratio (a4/a3) of the content of the granule (a4) and the content of the granule (a3) is 0.5 or more to 1.5 or less, and the average collapse strength of the granule having a particle diameter of 63 &mum or more is 0.1 g/piece or more to 15 g/piece or less.
