PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a temporary hair dyeing agent which has a slight rise in viscosity with time regardless of combined use of inorganic pigment and organic pigment, has excellent feel after application and provides the hair with excellent gloss and to provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: The method for producing a temporary hair dyeing agent comprises a process for grinding and mixing an inorganic pigment and an organic pigment in the presence of a dispersion medium so as to make the maximum particle diameter of the pigment after grinding have &ge5 &mum and <100 &mum and mixing the obtained pigment paste with a lower alcohol or a mixture containing a lower alcohol. The temporary hair dyeing agent is obtained by grinding and mixing the inorganic pigment and the organic pigment in the presence of a dispersing medium and contains a pigment paste having the maximum particle diameter of the pigment of &ge5 &mum and <100 &mum.
