PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate a dentifrice excellent in a soil removal performance which can remove dental plaque or tooth staining sufficiently even if by brushing with a lowered load.SOLUTION: A dentifrice contains a granule having an average particle diameter of 100 &mum or more to 300 &mum or less, and having a deformation ratio of particles in compression direction which is 35% or more to 70% or less, represented by (general formula 1) at the time of collapsing by applying compression of loading-speed 1.51 g/sec to one granule: deformation ratio (%)=(variation in compression direction at collapse time/particle diameter before compression)×100 (general formula 1).
