PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation device, an evaluation method, and a program with which it is possible to appropriately evaluate the proficiency of each caregiver when a plurality of care receivers are taken care of by a plurality of caregivers.SOLUTION: An evaluation device 10 comprises an input acceptance unit 11, a totalization unit 12, and an output unit 13. The input acceptance unit 11 accepts status information pertaining to the status of a plurality of care receivers 30 inputted by a plurality of caregivers 20. The input acceptance unit 11 transmits the accepted status information to the totalization unit 12. The totalization unit 12 totalizes, for each of the caregivers 20 as evaluation information, the number of status information inputted by the caregivers 20 and the number of persons of care receivers 30 the status information on whom was acquired by the caregivers 20, on the basis of the status information transmitted from the input acceptance unit 11. The totalization unit 12 transmits the evaluation information totalized for each of the caregivers 20 to the output unit 13.
