The telephone traffic statistic method comprises: a service processing device starting timing after a current call is put through; the service processing device reporting a sub-telephone traffic statistic message once and conducting retiming before the call is ended and when a timing value reaches a sub-call duration; a telephone traffic statistic device receiving the sub-telephone traffic statistic message reported by the service processing device; and the telephone traffic statistic device counting a telephone traffic duration in a statistic cycle into which the sub-telephone traffic statistic message falls, wherein the telephone traffic duration is obtained by the telephone traffic statistic device from the sub-telephone traffic statistic message.
