The device has a stirring unit (10), a cover member (12) and a protective unit (14), where the protective unit comprises a radio frequency identification (RFID) element (16) and a RFID reader (18). An agitator (22) and the stirring unit are arranged within a reservoir (20).The reservoir receives a granule formed by fertilizer granule. The agitator and the stirring unit move and mix the granule in an operating mode of the device. The cover member is movably connected with the reservoir through hinges (26).
