A biomechanical device (10) for gait enhancement, applicable to the lower limbs of a user by way of a shoe (100), comprising an element (70) for resting against a portion of the tibia (120) of the user that is comprised between the knee (170) and the malleolus (185), and means (95) for coupling to a portion of the gastrocnemius (175) of the user which are on the opposite side from the portion of the tibia (120). The device (10) comprises at least one articulated polygon (40) which is deformable according to the flexibility of at least one leaf spring (15), which is extended longitudinally and is flexible around the rotation axis of the knee (170) and of the malleolus (185) and is connected rigidly at its ends (21, 22) to two rigid elements (25) which in turn are respectively attached to a lower rigid rod-like element (52) and to an upper rigid rod-like element (54), which are mutually pivoted so as to form, all together, the articulated polygon (40).L'invention concerne un dispositif biomécanique (10) pour l'amélioration de démarche, applicable aux membres inférieurs d'un utilisateur au moyen d'une chaussure (100), comprenant un élément (70) à reposer contre une partie du tibia (120) de l'utilisateur qui est comprise entre le genou (170) et la malléole (185), et des moyens (95) à accoupler à une partie des muscles jumeaux (175) de l'utilisateur qui sont sur le côté opposé à la partie du tibia (120).
