The present invention provides a composition comprising an active ingredient with a maximum solubility in water at 20° C. of 10 g/l, and a hyperbranched polyester which is joined to a polar polymer which comprises a polycondensate or a polymer comprising ethylenically unsaturated monomers. The invention further relates to the hyperbranched polyester mentioned and to a process for preparation thereof.
