PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support device capable of supporting walking of a user and suppressing attenuation of physical strength of the user (maintenance of physical strength) by applying a moderate load.SOLUTION: A walking support device 10 includes a frame 50, rails 30R and 30L provided with stationary handles 20FR and 20FL, and movable handles 20R and 20L, front wheels 60FR and 60FL, rear wheels 60RR and 60RL which are driving wheels, driving means 64R and 64L, a battery B, and driving control means (40), and moves back and forth together with a user who walks gripping the stationary handles 20FR and 20FL, or the movable handles 20R and 20L.
