PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist device, decreasing the forward jumping amount of a second joint part corresponding to a knee joint from a users trunk.SOLUTION: This walking assist device D includes: a support member 10, which supports a user P to transmit the load of the user a leg link 14 having a first link 22 and a second link 26 connected thereto through a second joint part 30, which is connected to the support member 10 through a first joint part 20 including a rocking mechanism to freely rock around a rocking fulcrum 32a and an actuator 16, wherein the actuator 16 is driven to relatively displace the first link 22 and the second link 26, thereby generating the assist force for supporting at least some of load of the user P to assist the users P walking.
