PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing model (cultured) cells or disease model animal capable of inducing artificially epigenetic methylation abnormality in a specific region, especially a region causing epigenetic abnormality relating to a disease onset causative gene or an onset.SOLUTION: The cultured cells or model animal except human induces artificially epigenetic abnormality by specifically introducing DNA methylation abnormality to a specific region in a genome DNA. The method for producing the model animal is provided.
