PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery animal model of undescended testis, useful as the animal model of male sterility condition such as idiopathic oligospermia to provide a method for creating the animal model to provide a method for screening an agent for treating the male sterility by using the animal model and to provide the agent for treating the male sterility obtained thereby.SOLUTION: The method for creating the animal model of the male sterility condition comprises subjecting the spermary of a Rodentia animal to mild invasion by retaining the spermary at a position near to the peritoneal cavity from the center point between the groin and the tip of the scrotum, and returning the spermary to the original position by releasing the retaining.
