The present invention relates to rainbow colored gimbap (laver rice rolls) and to a method for producing the same. When being seen in a cross-sectional view, the contents in a trapezoidal shape of the gimbap form in a circle by being sequentially arranged in the gimbap. Each of the contents has different colors and thus reminds eaters of a rainbow, and circular sauce contents are filled in the center thereof so various tastes can be provided. According to the present invention, gimbap rice mixed with ingredients having original colors to have various colors is prepared, and the gimbap rice having various colors is solidified to have a trapezoidal shape by color. Various kinds of the trapezoidal gimbap rice are spread to be adjacent to each other on the upper surface of laver. A cylindrical sauce material including sauce is put in an upper side of the gimbap rice, and laver is rolled.
