The absorbing layer may be adapted to absorb an odor, a volatile organic compound, or both. The absorbing layer may include a palladium complex and at least one of a cyclodextrin, a hydrophobin protein, and a derivative thereof. A process for making a multilayer film including a polymeric film layer, an adhesive layer, and an absorbing layer configured to absorb an odor or a volatile organic compound includes providing th polymeric film layer and applying to a first surface of the polymeric film layer an adhesive. The process includes applying to a second surface of the polymeric film layer an absorbing topcoat solution or said absorbing complex. The process includes drying the absorbing topcoat solution to form the absorbing layer.La présente invention concerne un film multicouche pouvant comprendre une couche de film polymère et une couche absorbante sur un côté de la couche de film polymère. Le procédé fait appel à lapplication dune solution de finition absorbante ou dudit complexe absorbant sur une seconde surface de la couche de film polymère. Le procédé fait également appel au séchage de la solution de finition absorbante pour former la couche absorbante.
