The present invention relates to an antiviral agent containing RNA oligonucleotide having specific sequences and a structure. More specifically, by treating a cell line with the RNA oligonucleotide having the specific sequences and a spirally bent structure, the expression of interferone-stimulated gene 56 (ISG56) or interferone-beta increases, and antiviral activities can be induced. Accordingly, the composition containing the RNA oligonucleotide can be useful as the antiviral agent.본 발명은 특정 서열 및 구조를 갖는 RNA 올리고뉴클레오티드를 포함하는 항바이러스제에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로, 본 발명에 따른 특정 서열과 나선형 굽힘 구조를 갖는 RNA 올리고뉴클레오티드를 세포주에 처리하면 인터페론-β 또는 ISG56의 발현을 증가시키고 항바이러스 활성을 나타내므로, 상기 RNA 올리고뉴클레오티드를 포함하는 조성물은 항바이러스제로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
