PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bivalve aquaculture method and a suspending connection in which bivalve quality and yield can be improved while being simple.SOLUTION: In an aquaculture method for making bivalves 50 suspend in the water, the bivalves 50 are cultivated while applying force in the direction of closing shells thereof. Specifically, a suspending connection 10 with multiple elongated members E1, E2 along the length direction is used, and the bivalves 50 are alternately passed through the multiple elongated member E1, E2, and thereby the bivalves 50 are sandwiched between the multiple elongated members E1, E2 and the force is applied to the direction of closing the shells of the bivalves 50 to make the suspending connection 10 suspend in the water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】簡単でありながら、二枚貝の品質と歩留りとを向上させることができる二枚貝の養殖方法及び垂下連を提供する。【解決手段】二枚貝５０を水中に垂下させる養殖方法において、前記二枚貝５０の貝殻を閉じる方向に力を加えた状態で養殖する。詳しくは、長さ方向に添った複数の細長部材Ｅ１、Ｅ２を備える垂下連１０を用い、複数の前記細長部材Ｅ１、Ｅ２に互い違いに前記二枚貝５０を通すことで前記二枚貝５０を複数の前記細長部材Ｅ１、Ｅ２に挟持させて前記二枚貝５０の貝殻を閉じる方向に力を加え、前記垂下連１０を水中に垂下させる。【選択図】図１
