According to the present invention, a thermal cycling therapy apparatus and an operation method thereof circulate the fluid inside a poultice pad by introducing the fluid stored in a fluid storage container into a fluid inflow unit. The thermal cycling therapy apparatus is located on one side of the fluid storage container to provide heat to the fluid to heat the fluid or to absorb heat from the fluid to cool the fluid； heats or cools the fluid such that the fluid temperature measured from a temperature measuring sensor respectively attached to the fluid inflow unit and a fluid entry unit of the fluid storage unit reaches a target temperature input from a user, thereby making it possible to solve the problem that the apparatus needs to be warmed or frozen continuously and that it is difficult to maintain the same for a certain time according to the set temperature desired by the user.본 발명에 따른 열순환치료기 및 이의 동작 방법은 상기 유체 보관 용기에 보관되어 있는 상기 유체를 상기 유체 유입부에 유입시킴으로써 상기 찜질 패드 내부에 유체를 순환시키되, 상기 유체 보관 용기의 일 측면에 위치하여 상기 유체에 열을 제공하여 상기 유체를 가열하거나 상기 유체로부터 열을 흡수하여 상기 유체를 냉각하되, 상기 유체 보관부의 상기 유체 유입부 및 상기 유체 출입부에 각각 부착된 온도 측정 센서로부터 측정된 유체 온도가 사용자로부터 입력된 목표 온도에 도달하도록 상기 유체를 가열 또는 냉각함으로써 지속적으로 기구 자체를 덥히거나 얼려야 하는 문제점 및 사용자가 원하는 설정 온도에 따라 일정시간 유지하기가 어렵다는 문제점을 해결할 수 있다.
