PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forcing cultivation by which shortening of a germination period and an improvement in germination ratio of seeds and further promotion of growth after germination can be carried out. SOLUTION: A hydrogencarbonate 12 in an amount of 100-1000 mg, a compound 13 of potassium, in an amount of 10-50 mg expressed in terms of potassium, a compound 14 of magnesium in an amount of 10-50 mg expressed in terms of magnesium and a compound 15 of calcium in an amount of 20-100 mg expressed in terms of calcium are added to 1 L of water 11. The resultant water 11 is then electrolyzed to provide oxidized water 16 at pH >=4.5 and <=1000 mV oxidation-reduction potential(ORP). The obtained oxidized water 16 is utilized for dipping the seeds 17 and irrigating plants.
