PURPOSE: A cultivation method of high calcium content red pepper using shells and the high calcium content red pepper thereof are provided to economically cultivate red peppers using ionized calcium obtained by plasticizing shells. CONSTITUTION: A cultivation method of high calcium content red pepper using shells comprises the following steps: spraying a solution of ionized calcium diluted by 1000 times to red pepper seedlings once every 10~15days until June； spraying a diluted solution of the ionized calcium diluted by 600-700 times to the red pepper seedlings once every 10~14days from the middle ten days of June； and spraying the 600~700times diluted solution to the red pepper seedlings once every 7days during the harvest season.본 발명은 고추 재배 분야에 관한 것으로, 특히 고칼슘 고추 재배방법 및 그를 이용하여 재배된 고칼슘 고추에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 고칼슘 고추 재배방법은,(1) 육묘된 고추묘를 정식 후 소정의 기간마다 이온화칼슘제를 물에 희석하여 이온화칼슘용액을 엽면 살포하고, (2) 대략 6월 중순부터 이온화칼슘용액의 농도를 높게 하여 소정의 기간마다 옆면 살포하고, (3) 홍고추 수확시기가 되면 이온화칼슘용액의 농도를 더욱 높게 하여 소정의 기간마다 옆면 살포하는 방법으로 이루어진다.
