A particulate composition suitable for oral consumption is disclosed comprising a carrier phase which is a free flowing particulate phase comprising a poor or bitter tasting agent and a first particulate agent which is selected from sugar particles and artificial sweetener particles, said sugar or artificial sweetener particles optionally comprising one or more flavouring/colouring agents, and said sugar or artificial sweetener particles having a mean particle size of 100-500 µm (preferably 150-450 µm), and a retained phase which is a free flowing particulate phase, comprising a second particulate agent selected from particles comprising sugars or artificial sweeteners and having a mean particle size of at least 500 µm (preferably 800-1500 µm), and wherein the second particulate agent is other than chewing gum, and wherein the particles of the retained phase are able to move freely with respect to the particles of the carrier phase, and wherein the particles of the second particulate are larger than those of the first particulate agent.
