The purpose of the present invention is to improve workability and transplantation accuracy. A seedling transplanter of the present invention comprises: a driving device； a seedling returning unit for returning seedlings； and a seedling transplanting device for transplanting the seedling returned to a transplantation supply position by means of the seedling returning unit. The seedling transplanting device is equipped with a pair of seedling transplantation holding tools (31) which hold the seedlings provided to the transplantation supply position by means of the seedling returning unit. The seedling transplantation holding tools (31) are operated in a long front and rear trajectory so that the seedlings are transplanted in a packing. The transplantation device is equipped with a pair of holding tool holders (41) which operate the breadth and narrowness of the seedling transplantation holding tools (31) by contacting the same. The transplantation holding tools (31) and holding tool holders (41) are coupled at a lengthwise coupling surface (V) from a rear view.
