The present invention provides materials and methods for improving the health of facial skin, hair and scalp using cosmetic yeast-based masks. In certain embodiments, the present invention provides yeast-based masks that are applied to the face to improve facial health and appearance. In other specific embodiments, the present invention provides yeast-based masks applied to hair and scalp that prevent hair loss and improve the health and appearance of hair and scalp.
