The assembly (11) comprises: - a cutting device (13) comprising a portable cutting tool (15), a sensor (17) for absolute location of the cutting tool (15), and at least one sensor ( 18) configured to acquire at least one operating parameter of the cutting tool (15)； a data management device (19) configured to record the or each acquired operating parameter by associating with it the location of the cutting tool (15) measured by the location sensor (17) at the time of acquisition the or each operating parameter. The whole of the invention makes it possible to map crop plots economically. L'ensemble (11) comporte : - un dispositif de coupe (13) comprenant un outil de coupe (15) portatif, un capteur (17) de localisation absolue de l'outil de coupe (15), et au moins un capteur (18) configuré pour acquérir au moins un paramètre de fonctionnement de l'outil de coupe (15) ； - un dispositif (19) de gestion de données, configuré pour enregistrer le ou chaque paramètre de fonctionnement acquis en lui associant la localisation de l'outil de coupe (15) mesurée par le capteur de localisation (17) au moment de l'acquisition du ou de chaque paramètre de fonctionnement. L'ensemble de l'invention permet de réaliser des cartographies de parcelles de culture de manière économique.
