PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition excellent in stability of berberine, suppressing fading of a pigment, and holding stably a formulation color tone, concerning a dentifrice composition containing berberine and calcium carbonate, and to provide a method for improving stability of berberine in the dentifrice composition, and suppressing fading of the pigment.SOLUTION: This invention relates: to a dentifrice composition formed by blending (C) polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil and (E) Blue No.1 and/or Red No.106 as pigments with a dentifrice composition containing (A) berberine and (B) calcium carbonate and to a stabilization method thereof.
