The exterior body has a pair of sheet materials (18) and an elastic member (50) disposed between the pair of sheet materials and extending in the width direction. The elastic member has a continuous elastic member (52) that is continuously elastic from one outer side part of the exterior body to the other outer side part of the exterior body in the width direction. The exterior body is provided with: a non-fixing region (R12) in which the continuous elastic member is not fixed to the pair of sheet materials at the center of the absorbent article in the width direction； and a pair of fixing regions (R11) in which the continuous elastic member is fixed in an expandable/contractible manner to at least one of the pair of sheet materials in the outer sides of the non-fixing region in the width direction.
