PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper suppressing turn-up or separation of a fastening tape fitted on an abdomen side part from the abdomen side part and enabling adhesion of a back side part of the diaper to the back.SOLUTION: The spreading type disposable diaper includes: fitting parts 11m of fastening tapes 11 arranged respectively at end parts of a back side part 1b in a lateral direction； leg opening elastic members 21 respectively arranged at positions on both sides of a crotch part 1m in the lateral direction along a vertical direction for contraction along the vertical direction； and a waistline elastic sheet 31 arranged in the back side part 1b while extended on both sides in the lateral direction for contracting a waistline opening part in the lateral direction.
