PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting cracking capable of measuring the size of an egg without a special mechanism.SOLUTION: There is provided a device for inspecting cracking 1 according to the present invention which comprises: impact application means 2 for applying impact to an egg E vibration sound detection means 3 for detecting a vibration sound generated with the impact to output a vibration sound signal of the vibration sound and arithmetic means 4 for putting the vibration sound signal through arithmetic processing to detect cracking of the egg E. The vibration sound detection means 3 includes microphones 3a and 3b, each of which is located at different distances from the location P of the egg E and outputs vibration sound signals.
