Disclosed is an optical sensor module. The optical sensor module of the present invention includes: an infrared ray emitting unit which is installed on one surface of an electronic device and emits light of an infrared ray range； an infrared ray receiving unit which is mounted on one surface of the electronic device and senses light of the infrared ray range to convert the same into an electrical signal； and a signal processing unit which processes the electrical signal converted by the infrared ray receiving unit by a prestored algorithm. If the electronic device is in an iris recognition mode, the infrared ray emitting unit emits light, the infrared ray receiving unit photographs iris by using the light emitted from the infrared ray emitting unit, and the signal processing unit processes a signal by an iris recognition algorithm. If the electronic device is in a heart rate measurement mode, the infrared ray emitting unit emits light, the infrared ray receiving unit senses reflection of the emitted light from a measured body, and the signal processing unit processes a signal by a heart rate measurement algorithm.
