According to the circuit board assembly, concave parts (280) of support seats (200, 200') are used for containing electronic components (111, 112) of a circuit board (100), such that the whole height of the circuit board assembly is reduced, and the circuit board assembly is compact in combination and small in free space. The light source device and the projection equipment provided with the circuit board assembly are smaller in external dimensions, which is beneficial to the miniaturization of the light source device and a minitype projector.
