An interleukin (IL)-1beta binding antibody comprising a heavy chain comprising SEQ ID NO: 28 and a light chain comprising SEQ ID NO: 27. The antibody binds to an epitope contained in the sequence SEQ ID NO: 36 and binds with a dissociation constant of 1 pM or less. The antibody can be used to treat an inflammatory disease, autoimmune disease or cancer.
