PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel for fishing, allowing a user to smoothly perform a series of operations from thumbing to taking-up a spool while holding a fishing rod and a reel body by one hand in a handheld state.SOLUTION: The electric reel for fishing includes: the spool 7 which is disposed between right and left side panels 5A and 5B of the reel body 5 and around which a fishing line is wound a drive motor 8 disposed in the reel body 5 for rotationally driving the spool 7 and an operation member 25 for adjusting the output of the drive motor 8. The operation member 25 is rotatably supported above the spool 7 and between the right and left side panels in such a way as to face an opening area to expose the spool 7 so that the spool 7 can be operated while thumbing with the tip of the thumb of a hand holding the fishing rod and the reel body 5, and at the same time, the operation member 25 is supported in such a way as to be rotationally operated by pressing the reel body 5 from above while holding the reel body 5.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】手持ち状態で、釣竿とリール本体を片手で把持保持しながら、サミング操作からスプールの巻き取り操作に至る一連の操作をスムーズに行える魚釣用電動リールを提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る魚釣用電動リールは、リール本体5の左右側板5A,5B間に設けられ、釣糸が巻回されるスプール7と、リール本体5に設けられ、スプール7を回転駆動する駆動モータ8と、駆動モータ8の出力を調整する操作部材25とを有する。そして、操作部材25は、釣竿とリール本体5を把持保持した手の親指でスプール7をサミング操作しながら親指の指先で操作可能となるように、スプール7の上方で左右側板間においてスプール7を露出させる開口領域に面するように回転可能に支持され、かつ、リール本体5を把持保持しながら上から押し付けて回転操作可能に支持されている。【選択図】図1
